Almost finished with the basic preparations. Tomorrow I will take the camper to the Dodge dealer, and have them check the brakes and a rattle that I don’t like to hear. Today I finished replacing the battery inside the coach; it powers the interior lights, pump, and so forth.
After this, just a matter of packing personal gear and food and we’ll be ready to roll. I like to have 100% of our stuff checked off, though we can buy anything we need if I miss something.
It’s like the scene in The Sting, the night before the action, when Redford and Newman are lying awake, going through every detail in their minds.
