We conceived this trip as a twofold purpose: One, to take Diane’s ashes back to the place where she and I met more than 50 years ago, to complete a sacred circle. Two, to undertake a journey of discovery, a pilgimage, prefatory to beginning new lives in the future in which we have been thrust unwittingly.
